Rachel Brewer, 70, of England went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015. She was born October 16, 1944 in Seaton, Arkansas to the late Richard and Erma Harris.

She confessed a hope in Christ at Springfield Baptist Church in Seaton, Arkansas. In 1968 Rachel married Walter James Brewer and after this union she moved her membership to Chapel Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. C. L. Franklin. She was faithful and active until the decline of her health. She served as Sunday School and Bible Study teach, choir member and usher.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents: the late Richard and Erma Harris; one sister: Ermalean McKinney; two brothers: Richard Harris, Jr. and Sammy Lee Harris.

She leaves to cherish her memories, beloved husband: Walter James Brewer; three brothers: Albert (Jean) Harris, Henry Lee Harris, Leotis (Gloria) Harris; a host of nieces and nephews and cousins; also special nieces: Kimberly Hayes and Melissa Coleman-Brown.

Services will be Friday, August 14, 2015 at 12:00 P. M. at East Macedonia Church in England. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13, 2015 from 6-8:00 P. M. at Roller England Funeral Home (501) 842-3939.
