F.V. (Buddy) McPherson, 82, of Greenbrier passed from this life on Wednesday, June 17, 2015. He was born November 26, 1932 in Conway, Arkansas to Archie Lee McPherson and Minnie Viola Riffle McPherson. Mr. McPherson was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Marie Jerrell, Dorothy Morgan and Fay Dell Brannon and a brother Kenneth R. McPherson.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years and 4 months, Carrie L. Harris McPherson, sons Eddie McPherson (Sherry) of Greenbrier, Ronnie McPherson (Jerri )of Conway, Rickie McPherson of Conway, daughters Sharon Burgess (Ross) of Greenbrier and Pam Bates (Alan) of Vilonia. Other survivors include sister; Betty Day of Conway, grandchildren Cristy Tarkington, Priscilla Douangkesone, Mandy Ussery, Jennifer Sharp, Dustin Mize, Preston Mize, Ryan McPherson, Ashley McPherson, one four legged furry baby Angel, eight great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Friday, June 19, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be held at 12pm on Saturday, June 20, 2015 at Springhill Baptist Church with Bro. Johnnie Hoffmann officiating. Burial will follow in Bells Chapel Cemetery in Atkins.

Pallbearers will be Tim Welter, Doug Welter, Doug Tilley, Larry Dale Cross Jr., Bradley Stevenson, Jordan Smithson, Chris Hazel and Steven Riffle Jr. Ken Miller and Gerald Walters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
