Bob was born January 24, 1943 in Crockett County, Tennessee. He attained a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. He and his wife Fran were married June 27, 1970 in Guin, Alabama. Deep in his faith, Bob was active in his church where he held every leadership position. He oversaw the building of the newest addition to the church, was the project manager of the restoration and renovation of the pipe organ, taught adult Sunday School and served on many committees. He was often times called upon to act as mentor, friend, and confidant to his pastors. Bob was a Market Manager with Carrier Corporation and enjoyed his work immensely. He loved playing golf and attending ball games with his best friend Jim Curtis. Bob always rooted for Arkansas, unless of course they were playing Tennessee. Jim and his wife Anita were a great support to Bob and Fran during their long battle with cancer as were members of the New Directions Class, Asbury Church and a host of family and friends.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Dr. Larry Mendelsohn and his staff at Little Rock Hematology/Oncology Associates.
