Mr. Clarence Jackson (Jack) Messick, age 78 of Mountain Home passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Jack Messick was born August 5, 1935 in Mountain Home to Virtner and Daisy (Swadley) Messick. He married Shirley Ann Sartin on June 9, 1978 in Mountain Home. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with family. He served in the United States Army.

Mr. Jack Messick is survived by his wife, Shirley Messick of the home, three daughters; Sheila Weitzel (Jeff) of Springfield, MO, Gail Keller of Mountain Home, Lanette Remery (Mark) of Youngsville, North Carolina, four grandchildren; Tyler Remery, Kevin Keller, Kelly Weitzel, Casey Weitzel, three sisters; Janette Wilson of St. Louis, MO, Louise Smythe of Mountain Home, Christine Messick of Springfield, MO, two brothers; Jimmy Lee Messick of Mountain Home and Jasper Messick. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gearld Messick and one sister, Nancy Messick.

Funeral Service for Mr. Messick will be Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 2:00PM at the Roller Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Holman officiating. Visitation will be from Noon-9:00PM with family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00PM. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Ozarks.
