Marjorie Willodene Harness, age 93 of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Ozark Health Convalescent Center in Clinton. She was born in Campbell, Arkansas on October 14, 1920 to Thomas A. "Andy" Morrison and Ferby M. (Sutterfield) Morrison.

Marjorie attended the Walnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Landis. She spent her working years as a cook at the Leslie School and a seamstress for the Fabric Center in Leslie. Marjorie enjoyed taking trips to Branson and going on bus tours to various places. She loved being outdoors, working in her flowers. Marjorie was a wonderful cook and loved to share the food she prepared with friends, neighbors and her farm workers. She loved visits from the kids and grandkids.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Hugh V. Harness; seven siblings, Bill Morrison, Mabel (Elmer) Lewis, Nadean (Jack) Waltman, Eugene Morrison, Tommy (Mary) Morrison, Betty Ann Nunley and Dale Morrison; and one grandson, Dwayne Mercer.

Survivors include her daughter Linda Mercer and husband Benny of Clinton; three grandchildren, Dora Glover and husband Mark of Guy, Tammy Ertle and husband Brian, also of Guy and Anna Waters and husband Jimmy of Greenbrier; five great grandchildren, Ashley Glover, Heath Ertle, Kayla Waters, Wesley Waters and Megan Mercer; one sister-in-law, Joan (Morrison) McNally; one brother-in-law, Donald Ray Nunley; and a host of other friends and family who will also mourn her passing.

Services for Marjorie will be 1:00 PM Friday, January 03, 2014 at Roller-Coffman Funeral Home in Marshall, Arkansas with Bro. Mark Glover and Bro. Kevin Purifoy officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 till 8:00 PM Thursday, January 02, 2014 in the Chapel. Burial will be in Campbell Cemetery in Campbell, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Steve Nunley, Neil Massey, Charlie Morrison, Ritchie Morrison, Kirk Pryor and Jimmy Waters. Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Ray Nunley, Ronald Morrison, Doug Triplett, Johnny Waltman and Brian Ertle.
