Brenda Gail Barnes Coy, 62, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, December 30, 2013 at Helena. Mrs. Coy was born April 12, 1951 at Meridian, Mississippi to Raymond and Shirley Barnes. She was the office manager for Arkla Gas for over 20 years and a clerk for Cox Cable. She was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Gary Coy; a son, Curtis Reed (Deana) of Harrison, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Will Hanley Reed, Elizabeth Hays Reed and Marcie Ryan Reed, all of Harrison; her parents, Ray and Shirley Barnes of West Helena; sister, Linda Kay Worstell of Bridgeview, Arkansas; brother, Alan Barnes, Sr. (Sherry) of Poplar Grove, Arkansas; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Halbert and a brother, Michael Barnes.

Services for Brenda Coy will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2014 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Marvell Cemetery at Marvell, Arkansas. Reverend Doris Smith will officiate.

Pallbearers are Alan Barnes, Sr., Alan Barnes, Jr., Adam Rowland, Josh Rowland, Jeff Halbert and Charles Purvis.
