Mrs. Aurora C. Carrillo, age 89, of Lakeview, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, February 14, 2013, in Mountain Home.
She was born August 24, 1923, in Durango, Mexico, to Jesus and Juana Carvajal. On February 18, 1950, she married Louis Carrillo in Chicago, Illinois. Mrs. Carrillo moved to Lakeview in 2004 from Sauk Village, Illinois. A homemaker, Mrs. Carrillo was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and enjoyed knitting, quilting, crocheting and cooking.
Survivors are: her husband Louis Carrillo: of the home; two sons: Louis (Carolyn) Carrillo: Oak Lawn, Illinois; and Stanley (Pam) Carrillo: Manteno, Illinois; four daughters: Mary King: Lakeview; Patti Carrillo: Midway, Arkansas; Stacie (Douglas) Foster: Lake Havasu City, Arizona; and Theresa (Ryan) Sweet: Ozark, Missouri; 21 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and a daughter-in-law: Cheryl (Rod) Werner: San Pierre, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter: Margaret Lennie; and a son-in-law: Troy King.
Visitation will be from 2:00-9:00 P.M. Sunday, February 17, 2013, at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. in the Roller Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Stan Swiderski as celebrant. Entombment will follow in Kirby's Tucker Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Building Fund.
