Mary Kaye Prince, 65, of Cave City died Wednesday, January 9, 2012 in Searcy.
She was born in Cushman, Arkansas on October 27, 1947 to William Marshall and Velma Hurley Marshall. She was a strong-willed woman; and she enjoyed sewing, painting, crafts, and reading. She was a homemaker and attended Trinity Full Gospel Church.
Survivors include her sons, Brent Hastings of Little Rock, Harry Prince IV of Cave City; daughters, Jackie Hastings Garner of Charlotte, Renee Hastings of Cave City; a grandchild, Shawndra Hastings; sisters, Dorothy Banks of Moorefield, Donna McBride of Salado; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Prince; grandsons: Steven Simpson, Timothy Darnell and Jeremy Wood; and brother, Alvis Edward, Jr.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Roller-Crouch Chapel with Rev. Ira Brokaw and Rev. Keith Wooldridge officiating. Burial will follow at Weavers Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Batesville.
Pallbearers will be Gary Pinkston, Jake Pinkston, Corey Justus, Ramsey Morris, Mark Hastings and Tyson Bowers.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
