Frank "FJ" James Freeman

Frank James "FJ" Freeman, 84, of Conway, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012. He was born July 29, 1927, in McGintytown, to the late Tollie and Allie (Bessie) Freeman.
He was a corporal in the Army, 1946-1947, stationed in Alaska. He was retired from International Shoe Factory.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Ozell Anderson and Essie Dee Freeman (infant); and, two brothers, LB Freeman and WC Freeman.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Wanda Faye (Higgs) Freeman; one son, Randy Freeman (Marci); two grandchildren, Jillian Freeman Walden (Bryan) and Brooks Freeman; two great-grandchildren, London Freeman and Ryder Walden; two sisters, Altha Dennison and Linda Thornton Carter (Charles); one brother, Cody Freeman; and, a host of nieces and nephews.
Frank "Papa" was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His family will always love and miss him.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Carter, Charles Freeman, Commodore Freeman, Lyndon Freeman, Bob Gill, Wally Jackson, and Danny Linn.
Family will receive friends following the graveside service at 131 Beaverfork Road, Conway.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
