Myrtle Pauline Reed, 79, of Cave City died Thursday, March 10, 2005 at a nursing home in Cave City.
She was born on February 8, 1926 in Batesville and was the daughter of George Manley Bonham and Margin Rollins Bonham. Myrtle was a homemaker. She grew up in the Mount View/Bold Springs area and lived there all her life and was well known and loved by the community. Myrtle was a member of the Bold Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Robert Allen Reed of Cave City and her brother, Page Bonham of Bono. Myrtle is also survived by her five grandchildren: Robert Edward Reed of Conway, Michael Light of Batesville, Jennifer Smith of Batesville, Lauri Foley of Searcy and John Reed of Cave City. Her six great-grandchildren; Robert Eric Reed, Sara Reed, Stephen Reed, Lauren Smith, Daniel Smith and John Michael Light, also survive her. She is also survived by her nephew, Boyce Bonham and her niece, Sandra Blades both of Bono.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Wesley Reed.
Funeral services will be at 2 PM Sunday at the Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Brother David Wesley officiating.
Pallbearers will be Boyce Bonham, Michael Light, Michael Foley, Justin Cross, Billy Cross and Paul Smith.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 PM Saturday.
Burial will be at Milligan Campground Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City. (870) 283-6602.
