Mr. Paul A. DuBose, age 44 of Cotter , Arkansas passed away Friday December 9, 2011 at his residence after a long battle with a rare neurological disease Stiff-Man's Syndrome. He was born May 30, 1967 in Memphis, Tennessee to Jacob and Doris DuBose. He married Sandra Whiteside on August 6, 1986 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Paul was an ordained Cumberland Presbyterian minister who loved being a pastor and enjoyed people He was a dear friend to many. His other passions included fly fishing, shooting, bicycling, woodworking, caving, and hiking. He was an eagle scout and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Cotter.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Sandra DuBose of Cotter; 3 sons: Andrew Thomas DuBose, Matthew Paul DuBose and Phillip James "PJ" DuBose, all of Cotter; a sister, Elizabeth DuBose of Plano, Texas and 2 brothers: David DuBose of Jackson, Tennessee and Richard DuBose of Huron, Tennessee He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the Wesley United Methodist Church.


Memorial services will be held 3 PM Sunday December 18, 2011 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Cotter.
