Florence E. Gerard, 86, of Conway passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011. She was born November 1, 1924 in Sutton's Bay Michigan. She was a daughter to the late Arthur and Grace McCarty of Lansing, Michigan.

She was a kind, loving, and giving person, a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed life to the fullest and especially loved bowling, embroidery, playing scrabble, and playing cards with her friends. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and Christian Ladies Organization.

She is survived by daughter Jacqueline Gerard of Lansing, Michigan, son Dennis Gerard of Huntington, Beach, California. Daughter Cindy Gerard of Frisco, Texas, son Tom Gerard and wife Theresa, grandchildren Susan and Michael Gerard of Conway.

Florence was preceded in death by her loving husband Arthur J. Gerard, son William J. Gerard, infant son Michael A. Gerard, and her sister Genevieve Heidecker of Lansing Michigan.

A Christian Ladies Rosary will be held Sunday, September 18th at 2:00pm, and the parish Rosary will be held at 7:00pm at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway, AR. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, September 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 10:00am. Burial will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
