Brother Harold Ray Danley, 68 of Crumrod, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at his home. Brother Danley was born May 13, 1943 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late Elton Harold Hale and the late Macel Daugherty Hale. He was a preacher and evangelist and a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mellwood, Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Linda Kay Loeschner Danley; two daughters, Tammy Roberts (Richard) of Olive Branch, Mississippi and Lisa Ingle (Andy) of Cabot, Arkansas; six grandchildren, Matt Roberts, Megan Roberts, Blake Harper, Bradley Harper, Zack Harper and Ross Ingle; two sisters, Ginger Davis (Jerry) of Elaine, Arkansas and Darlene Roark of Searcy, Arkansas; and six brothers, Larry Danley (Judy) of Olive Branch, Maxie Bobbitt (Patricia) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Billy Bobbitt (Carol) of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Elton Hale, Jr. of Forrest City, Arkansas, Wilbur Hale (Thea) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Charley Brown (Arvella) of East Prairie, Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elton Hale, Sr.; his parents, Macel and Max Bobbitt; and a sister, Anita Whitson.
Services for Brother Harold Danley will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 26, 2011 at West Helena Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 6-9 p.m., Thursday at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Jack Daniels will officiate.
Pallbearers are Jimmy Faulkner, Tony Naile, Danny Vondran, Tony Silva, Billy Johnston and Jerry Roberts.
