Gilbert Berry Lovan, 80 of Subiaco, Arkansas passed away December 17, 2010 in Paris, Arkansas. Gilbert was born on October 7, 1930 in Willow Springs, Missouri to the late William Gilbert and Sipa Rebecca (Berry) Lovan. Gilbert was a retired dairy farmer, a past president of the Arkansas Associated Milk Producers, a past president of the Southern Region National Milk Producers, a 32nd Degree Mason and was a member of the Assembly of God Faith.

Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents William and Sipa Lovan, his wife Louise (Smith) Lovan, two sisters Cleta Willborg and Franceline Cooksey and one son William Thomas Lovan.

Gilbert is survived by two sons Gary Lovan of Ola and David Lovan of Subiaco, one daughter Peggy Rockenhaus of Magazine, one sister Mary Spong of Clearwater, Florida, 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

The body was cremated under the direction of Roller Funeral Home in Paris. There will be a private family committal service at a later date.
