Emil Burbridge, 68, born in Louisiana, Missouri, a resident of New Mexico for over 60 years passed away Monday, November 22nd surrounded by his loved ones in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was President and CEO of DiCor Custom Homes for over 30 years. After graduating from Hiland High School, Emil served on the Albuquerque Police Department in the late 1960s and was a member of the New Mexico National Guard. A member of Berean Baptist Church in Albuquerque until relocating to Logan, NM in 1999 where he joined the 1st Baptist Church of Logan.
He is survived by his mother Midred Orene Burbridge, 92, his wife Sandra Burbridge, two daughters Corena Inman of Indianapolis, IN, and Diana Smith of Little Rock, AR, two sisters Rita Jean Lemon and Sequoia Ramirez, and six grandchildren and numerous other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Truman Burbridge and his brother Phillip Burbridge.
A small family service will be held in Little Rock, AR officiated by his son-in-law, Reverend Darrell Smith.
Family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
