Jerry Wayne Chamberlain, 66, of Brookland, passed from this life on Monday, April 26, 2010 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born February 1, 1944 in Reno, NV. Mr. Chamberlain was a retired insurance manager, of the Protestant belief, and proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Elsie Griffin Chamberlain; and a brother, Roland Chamberlain.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Kent Chamberlain; two sons, Scott Chamberlain and wife Carmen of Denver, CO and Chris Chamberlain and wife Jennifer of Jonesboro; a daughter, Lori Turner and husband Josh of Jonesboro; and seven grandchildren, Kent, Beth, Parker and Emma Chamberlain and Alex, Claire and Carson Turner.

Visitation will be 5-8 pm Thursday at Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home in Jonesboro.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Friday at the funeral home with Jerry Qualls officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will include, Jerid Wooldridge, Miles Stahl, John Stanton, Ralph Forbis, Keith Lingenfelter and Eric Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will include Danny Akers, Jeff Middlebrook and Marcus Ashlock.
