Charles A. Victory, age 78, of Sherwood, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 24, 2010. He was born Sunday, March 1, 1931 in England, Arkansas to Paulie M. and Leolie Victory.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ann; three sons Danny Victory (Sandy) and Mike Victory (Anita) of North Little Rock, and Ronnie Victory (Kelsey) of Sherwood; his mother Leolie Victory of North Little Rock; five grandsons Danny Victory, Ben Victory, Josh Victory, Travis Victory, and Johnny Victory; one sister Margaret Wickliffe (Bob) of North Little Rock; and one sister-in-law Nora Victory of Kirbyville, Texas along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Paulie M. Victory and one brother Jack Victory.

Charles was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Navy from 1948 until 1951. He married Ann in 1951 and in 1956 opened Lion Termite and Pest Company in North Little Rock where he owned and operated the business until 1981. He then worked for Terminix where he was the top salesman two years in a row, deciding to reopen his business, Victory Pest Company, in 1984 and operating it until his retirement. He was a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner serving in the First Aid Unit for many years.

Charles loved his family, fishing, camping, and hunting.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 29, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas, 72116 with interment following at Edgewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Owens Funeral Home.
