James E. Harrison

James E. Harrison, 72, of Bauxite died January 5, 2010. He was born December 27, 1937 in Bauxite to the late Charles F. and Lela (Bullock) Harrison.

Mr. Harrison was a miner and machine operator for Alcoa for thirty-six years, a member of United Steel Workers Union, and a member of New Friendship Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faye Carman Harrison; a great-granddaughter, Nevaeh Lyons; one sister, Gracie Mae Stark, and a brother, Johnny Harrison.

Survivors include his wife of thirty-two years, Helen Harrison; four daughters Lesa Lawrence, Barbara Richardson and husband Ronald, Kim Lester and husband Jimbo, and Nicky Hobby and husband Mark; three sons, James C. Harrison and wife Kim, Michael Rea, and Kenny Rea and wife Kim; twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. at First Southern Baptist Church in Bryant with Rev. Paul Williams officiating. Interment will be at New Friendship Cemetery in the Shaw Community.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 8, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047).
