Rosemarie Leverett

of North Little Rock, AR

October 22, 1916 - July 22, 2009

Rosemarie Rust Leverett was a true North Little Rock Native. She was born October 22, 1916 in her Grandparents home in downtown North Little Rock to George and Josephine Rust. She is a 1935 graduate of North Little Rock High School and lived her entire life supporting this great city.

She met and married the love of her life Flynt Leverett in 1936. Together they joined forces and purchased A Graves and Steuwer Jewelry Store which was soon renamed Leverett's Jewelry and remained a staple on Main Street in downtown North Little Rock until they retired in 1970, at which time, Rose committed to spending her free time being a house wife, mother and volunteering at SVI medical center.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband Flynt, her son Byron, her son Flynt Jr., her daughter Elaine and her grandson Joe Magaro.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Dingler and her son-in-law Eldon, along with her grandchildren Tom and Brett Dingler, Heather Mink, Larry Leverett, Flynt Leverett III, Ray, Dan & Terri Magaro

She is also survived by fifteen great grandchildren, by daughter in law Maureen Leverett, son in law Frank Magaro and daughter in law Betty Leverett.

Rosemarie Leverett was a devout member of Lakewood United Methodist Church, the George Martin Sunday School Class and the United Methodist Women. Rose was a loving & caring Woman of God and will be missed greatly by Family & Friends.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2009, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd. North Little Rock, AR 72116, (501-791-7400) with Reverend Richard Lancaster officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Private interment.

In lieu flowers memorials may be made to Lakewood United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1922 Topf Rd., North Little Rock, AR 72116.
