Joyce Gertrude Baysinger, 81, of Alco entered into rest on April 16, 2009 in Mountain View.

She was born December 25, 1927 in Alco, Arkansas to Clarence and Vurla (Cooper) George. She was of the Baptist faith, wife and homemaker.

She is survived by a brother, Floyd Glenn George of Viola, Arkansas and sisters; Eula Mae Ashley and Patsy Stevens both of Alco, Arkansas. Other survivors include; Jean Long, Patricia Ashley, Peggy Williams, Rickey Stevens, Tammy Erby, Shelly Sanders, Steve Graves, Kay Graves, Larry Baysinger who are nieces and nephews, Omma Baysinger a sister-in-law and Cody Erby and Carley Jo Sanders great-nephew and niece.

She was preceded in death by Bernard Baysinger, husband and veteran; Verla George, mother; Clarence George, father and Vern Ashley, brother-in-law and a host of relatives and friends.

Visitation is 6 8 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009 at Roller Coffman Chapel, Mtn. View.

Funeral service is 10 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church, Timbo, Arkansas. Bro. Johnny Wayne Williams will officiate and interment in Alco Cemetery,
Alco, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Ricky Stevens, Cody Erby, Steve Graves, Dion Sanders and Don Branscum.
