Robert "Bob" N. Wacha

of Mountain Home, AR

Mr. Robert N. "Bob" Wacha, age 70, of Mountain Home, died Thursday at his home.
Visitation with the family receiving friends will be from 9:00-10:45A.M. Tuesday at Roller Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be at 11:00A.M. Tuesday at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend James Fanrak as celebrant. Private entombment with military honors will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
He was born September 26, 1938, in Lidgerwood, North Dakota, to William and Anna Arth Wacha. On November 2, 1957, he married Janice H. Pick in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Mr. Wacha served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1957 and in the U.S. Air Force from 1957-1976, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He moved to Mountain Home in 2003 from Wild Rose, Wisconsin. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Alley-White American Legion Post #52, Ozark V.F.W. Post #3246 and the Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Wacha was devoted to his faith, family and job and was a very giving person to the poor and needy. He had close friends all over the world, enjoyed country and western music, boating, motorcycle and bicycle riding, fishing, car shopping and working on cars. He was very proud of his five children , their education and successes.
Survivors are: his wife: Janice H. Wacha: of the home; children: Sheryl A. Byrd: Miami, Florida; Bob W. Wacha: Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Rene M. Wacha: McIntosh, Florida; Donna M. Wacha: Sheboygan; Scott Wacha: Sidney, Montana; brothers: Ed Wacha: Marshall, Minnesota; Larry Wacha: West Fargo, North Dakota; sisters: Betty Latzke: LeSuer, Minnesota; Alice Mlejnek: Sheboygan; Anita Ronning: Fergus Falls, Minnesota; Rosie Lesner: Alexandria, Minnesota; seven grandchildren: Mark, Tyler, Kendyl Renae and Tanner Wacha; Adam, Chris, and Scott Byrd; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson: Nick Wacha.
Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Building Fund or a favorite charity.
