Christine Nelson, 73, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, October 20, 2008 in Helena. Mrs. Nelson was born June 24, 1935 in Marianna, Arkansas to Nellie Baynes and the late Allen V. Ingram.

She is survived by a daughter, Lynda Wood of Gulfport, Mississippi; two sons, Dale Wayne Nelson of Arkansas and James Preston; her mother, Nellie Ellis; sisters, Geraldine Webb and Jeri Keisler; grandchildren, Logan Cudd, Kegan Wood, Marlon Floyd, Joseph Nelson and Dale Nelson; great-grandchildren, Amanda Beal and Valerie Smith.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allen V. Ingram; her husband, J.P. Nelson; her granddaughter, Lina Rogers Smith; and a great-granddaughter, Courtney Metz.

Services for Christine Nelson will be held Friday, October 24, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Oak Forest Cemetery in Marianna.

Pallbearers will be Logan Cudd, Mose Taylor and Willie Dotson.
