Tammie Lynn Whitson, 44, of Benton died Tuesday, August 5, 2008. She was born August 22, 1963 in Marshall, AR. Her grandparents, Kermit Farris, Sr., Noreen Hennessee, Harry Tilly, and Mae Tilly preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Earl Whitson of Benton; one son, Anthony Boyett of Little Rock; stepsons, Eric Whitson and wife Tina and Joshua Whitson and wife Jennifer all of Demotte, IN and Jamie Whitson of Highland, IN; parents, Kermit and Christine Farris of Little Rock; mother-in-law, Carolyn Whitson of Paris, TN; brother Kermit Farris, III and wife Paula of Little Rock; niece, Rachael Farris of Little Rock; 5 grandchildren, Alexis and Madison Whitson both of Highland, IN and Tessa, Taylor, and Haylee Whitson and one on the way, all of Demotte, IN, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 9, 2008 in the chapel of Roller-Ballard Funeral Home (315-4047) with Greg Kirksey and Dewayne Gantz officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park in Alexander.

A time of visitation will be held 30 minutes prior to service time at the funeral home.
