Carolyn Johnston, 57, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, June 30, 2008 in Helena. Mrs. Johnston was born January 15, 1951 in Oneida, Arkansas to Margie Hartwick Peppers and the late Arnie Peppers.

She is survived by her daughters, Christine Lynchard and husband, Jackie, of Florence, Mississippi, Cynthia Loeschner and husband, John, of Wynne, Arkansas, and Rachel Johnston of West Helena; mother, Margie Hartwick Peppers of Hardy, Arkansas; grandchildren, David Lynchard, Gwen Lynchard, Deena Darnell, Dawson Darnell, Maddy-Belle Darnell, Kristie Loeschner, Briar Loeschner, Dustin Loeschner and Johnathon Johnston; sisters, Faye Hopper, Dorothy Gassaway, Reba King, Debbie Williams and Robin Santiago; brothers, Bobby Peppers, Billy Peppers, Randy Peppers and Donald Peppers; a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and by her husband, David Larry Johnston.

Graveside services for Carolyn Johnston will be Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena. Brother Dwight Minor will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5-8 p.m. at Roller-Citizens.
