Ewell "Jack" Lemuel Jackson

Ewell Lemuel (Jack) Jackson, resident of Searcy departed this life on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the age of 77.

Mr. Jackson was born October 29, 1930 in Cave City, Arkansas to Ewell Sidney Jackson and Lucy Day Jackson.

Mr. Jackson was a retired Independent Insurance Agent. He was a member of Searcy First Baptist Church. He enjoyed being in fellowship with his church family, fishing, hunting, gardening, and being with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Betty (Shirley) Jackson of Searcy; one son, Ron and wife Susan of Russellville, Arkansas; one daughter, Vicki Fletcher and husband Nick of Lake City, Arkansas; three grandsons, Barry Jackson, Scott Jackson, and Brock Fletcher; one granddaughter, Nicole Fletcher Lewis; four great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Funeral services will be Monday, June 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Searcy First Baptist Church with interment following at White County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2008 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home.
