Macel Floyd (Davis) Posey, 75, of Quitman, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2008. She was born July 25, 1932 in Mississippi, daughter of the late Robert and Oller Mae (Clifton) Davis. Macel was also preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Posey who died March 4, 2005; an infant son, Floyd Posey, Jr. and two brothers, Vernon H. and Richard E. Davis.

Mrs. Posey's family remember her as an excellent caregiver to her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother above all. She loved God, her friends and family at Friendship Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Ronnie Posey and wife Patti; grand daughter, Amanda Wilson and husband Jeff; grandson Michael Posey; great-grand daughter, Taylor Wilson, all of Conway; great-grandson, Bryan Posey of Eureka, California; brothers, Robert L. Davis (Margie) of Gravel Ridge; Toby Davis (Ruby) of North Little Rock; Tony Davis (Betty) of Jonesboro; as well as many nephews, nieces and great-nephews and nieces.

The visitation will be Friday, April 11, 2008 at the funeral home from 6:00 8:00 pm. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 12th, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Bro. Ken Jordan Officiating. Burial will follow in Mayflower Cemetery with Dewayne Clifton, Melvin Posey, Brent Davis, Jeff Wilson, Randy Davis and Roy Tuggle serving as pallbearers.
