Geneva Starnes Akers

of Little Rock, AR

June 7, 1917 - March 21, 2008

Geneva Starnes Akers, 90 of Mabelvale went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, March 21, 2008. She was the daughter of the late B.E. and Harriet Young Starnes. She was a retired licensed practical nurse, and member of First Pentecostal Church of North Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sam E. Akers and a son, Wesley E. Akers.

Geneva is survived by children, Paul (Jenny), Bill (Linda), Theresa Faye Bard (David) and Jim (Barbara); daughter-in-law, Linda Jo Akers; 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 24, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Park officiated by Reverend Joel Holmes and Reverend Gary Akers. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock (501) 455-5800.
