Mrs. Irene Amelia Reynolds, 89, of Greenbrier, Arkansas, died Friday, February 8, 2008 at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehab. Irene was born March 29, 1918 in Casa, Arkansas, a daughter of the late Joseph W. and Melvina (Poteete) Brown, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Truman J. Reynolds; an infant son, Jackie Thomas Reynolds; brothers, Harvey, Therlo, Cecil, J. W., and Burch Brown and sisters, Lorene Potter and Alene Fugitt.
Mrs. Reynolds was retired from Fred's Discount Store of Conway, where she was a sales clerk. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church of Conway.
She is survived by her son, Johnny Reynolds and wife Kay of Greenbrier, Arkansas; grandsons, Jimmy Reynolds and wife Verna of Greenbrier; Lance Reynolds and wife Summer of Quitman; Todd Reynolds of Greenbrier; three great-grandchildren, Bailey Reynolds, Roe Reynolds, Amanda Trulove; two great-great-grandchildren and a number of nephews and nieces.
The family will receive friends between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral will be 3:00 p.m., Sunday, February 10th in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home with Bro. Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway. 501-327-7727.
