Ronald C. Herring, 77, of North Little Rock, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2007. Ron was born in Conway to the late James Clifford and Atha Sneed Herring. His parents; his first wife; Alice Lavonne Sellers Herring, and step-daughter Debbie McNutt preceded him in death.

Ron was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and Central Arkansas Corvette Club; he played softball until 2003 and was tournament water skier for over forty years. Ron graduated from Arkansas State Teacher College in Conway and was an accountant for Arkansas Health Department.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Herring; son, Ronnie Herring and wife Melissa; grandchildren, Joshua and Bayley Herring; step-son Tommy McNutt and wife Kimberly and their children, Joseph, Megan and Jennifer; cousins, Bill Sneed and Jessie and Phyllis Sellers; aunt Beulah Mae Herring Hartsfield.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Park Hill Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park in Conway.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 19, 2007 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home (791-7400). Memorials may be made to U S A Water Ski, 1251 Holy Cow Road, Polk City, FL 33868-8200.
