Nellie Mamie Fendley Morrison passed away peacefully at her home in Leslie with her family at her side on June 23, 2007, at age 95.

Nell was born in Campbell, Arkansas to Kay and Florence Sutterfield Fendley on September 10, 1911. She was married to Bob Morrison on October 24, 1935.

In addition to her husband of 71 years, Bob, she is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald and Emma Morrison, Charles and Pat Morrison, Ritchie and Reva Morrison all of Leslie; two sisters, Edna Simmons of Leslie and Willodean Roten of Marshall; grand children: Gary and Lesia Morrison, Charla and Tim Rippeto, Jamie Morrison and Brent Morrison, Michele and Joseph Ragland, Ricki Danielle Morrison, Joe and Sherry Bickers, "adopted" grand daughter Gail Deatherage; great-grandchildren: Ryan and Amber Morrison, Leslie and Matt Lichty, Sarah and Travis Simpson, Michael Morrison and Madison, Dyanah and Aiden Rippeto; great-great-grandchildren: Brody, Abby and Bryce Morrison, Rodney Lichty, Greg and Kaylee Simpson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first born child, Eileen and a son, Jerry Lynn Morrison; sisters: Thelma Rushing, Grace Rogers, Ethel Morrison, and Sonny Kuykendall; brothers: Claude, Bud, Garney and Bob Fendley; daughter-in-law Diane Morrison; grandson Greg Morrison; and great-grandson: Rodney Keith Morrison.


Pallbearers: Gary Morrison, Ryan Morrison, Brent Morrison, Michael Morrison, Joseph Ragland, and Tim Rippeto.


Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm Roller Coffman Chapel, with Bill Derickson officiating with Burial in Campbell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6---8 pm Monday, June 23, 2007 at Roller Coffman Chapel.
