I first met Dorothy as a child at Life Line Baptist Church but about 4-5 years ago we re-connected when she looked me up in an old LifeLine Directory. We started calling and talking for hours and having the best old time. She used to come into the nursery when I worked on Sunday nights and talk to me. We thoroughly enjoyed our talks then as we did our time of late. I'd read books I thought she might be interested in and send copies to her. She loved it. She just could not get enough of the Lord. Loved watching John Hagee! I'll miss my buddy and had been thinking of calling when Lacy contacted me a few months ago. I just was heartsick. But I knew my friend was going home soon to be with the Lord, exactly where she wanted to be! She always told me, I can't wait! And today, she's happy as can be to be present with our Lord! What a glorious place! To be present with Him! Thank you Lord for Dorothy and the work you lead her to do on Your behalf. Thank you Lord, for my friend, Dorothy Harlan, who I love and will miss but will see again!

Dorothy and I worked together for many years at Best Foods/CPC. I enjoyed working with her. She was caring and had a good sense of humor. She was always dependable and diligent with her work. My condolences and prayers for the family.

So sorry at the loss of your Mom. I enjoyed her friendship for 25+ years. We were original members of Skippy starting on June 20, 1977. Let the good memories of her help you make it through these trying times. God bless
