Kay Dickens was the best human resources and benefits person the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service ever had--bar none ! She had an almost photographic memory for details on rules, regulations and benefit information. She was so much fun when you visited her office. Rarely was she in a bad mood. When she made a mistake or heard something she didn't like she only knew one bad word. Anyone who knew her can tell you what that was. She spoke in rapid fire like an automatic weapon. You had to listen well to get it all the first time. But she worked hard to help every employee to get every benefit, however small, that they deserved. She had a large heart for anyone who knew her. Her wonderful sense of humor and dedicated service to others will be missed. She and her family are in our prayers. May God rest her soul in heaven and give her something to do. She hated to just sit around.

What a lady, Kay was the best! I join the many others who have shared how she was special and that she blessed their lives. You would be hard pressed to find a more dedicated, faithful and genuinely caring person. I count it an honor to have known her and feel certain she has entered into her heavenly reward as 'A good and faithful servant'.

All the wonderful statements that have been said by others regarding Kay Dickens are so true. She was a very giving and loving person and absolutely dedicated to helping others. It was an extreme honor to be one of her friends and almost a neighbor. My entire family loved Kay. Conway has lost a great citizen but all of us that knew her are a better person because of her. May our Heavenly Father comfort her loving family and friends.

Kay was a special person to everyone she encountered. She was brilliant and caring in every aspect of her being. We were the beneficiaries of both of those wonderful traits. We missed her greatly when she left the Cooperative Extension Service, but that did not keep her "Extended Family" from coming to her for help. And she did! She was a wonderful treasure and her memory and laughter will continue with us. Thank you Kay!

I met Kay when I started to work with UA COOP Extension in 1977 and visited with her many times over the years I worked. She was very helpful to me and others and we all have fond memories of her. One of the nicest people that worked in this organization and our prayers are for her family during this time.
