John J. Lindner, 71, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at his home. He was born October 21, 1935 in Eau Claire to John G. and Lois (Nitchey) Lindner. He served in the US Air Force from 1954 to 1956 and married the former Mary Helen Lund on October 29, 1955 in Eau Claire. John worked in sales for Bark River Equipment Co. Then he and Mary Helen owned motels in Wisconsin and Arkansas until retiring to Mountain Home in 2000.
Mr. Lindner is survived by his wife, Mary Helen, 3 sons: John D. (Bonnie) Lindner of Sykesville, MD, Kris P. Lindner of Winona, MN, and Michael P (Jean) Lindner of Plover, WI; 5 grandchildren: Bradley (Jennifer), Roslyn, Nicole, James, and Richard; 1 sister: Suzanne Lindner of Eau Claire; 1 brother: Anthony Lindner of New London, WI; 1 sister-in-law: Angie Lindner of Eau Claire; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Bernard Lindner.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 13, 2007 at Sacred Heart Hospital Chapel. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Building Fund or the St. Vincent de Paul Society in care of: St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, 249 Dyer St., Mountain Home, AR 72653. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home, Mountain Home, AR.
