Larry Gene King, 69, of Mt. Vernon passed from this life on Friday, February 5, 2016. He was born Monday, October 14, 1946 in Conway, Arkansas to Hubert Curtis King and Gladys Marie Naylor King. Mr. King served his country in the United States Army and was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry ''Pot'' King.
Mr. King is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marcia Brown King, son Curtis E. King of Enola, daughter Leanna King Tindoll and husband Eddie of Conway, grandchildren Trey Tindoll and Melanie Tindoll. Other survivors include sister Peggy Browning and husband Tommy of Wooster, brothers Bobby King and wife Denise of Little Rock, Bodie King and wife Lee of Vilonia, cousin/sister Debbie Jo Satterwhite and husband Rick of Conway along with lots of loving nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1pm, Wednesday February 10, 2016 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway with Brother Dickey Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park with full military honors. Visitation will be one
hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Rick Saterwhite, Tommy Lynn Browning, Mike Wallace, Tim Johnson, Justin King, Derek King, Eddie Tindoll and Trey Tindoll. Honorary Pallbearers will be Carroll Free, Eugene Farris, David Noblitt, Troy Brown, Robert Alcon, Jeremy Lasley, James Burroughs, Joey Crone, Brad Heck, Casey Loter, Joey Pearce, Jerrid Pearce, Justin Spears, Sam Walls, Odell Brock and Faulkner County Road Department.
