Clarence Lewis, 88 of Clarksville, passed away Saturday, January 30, 2016. Mr. Lewis was born April 2, 1927 in Clarksville, to Mr. James and Viola (McKnight) Lewis. Clarence enjoyed gardening, c.b. radio, and tinkering; he worked for 47 years for Eureka Brick Company. Mr. Lewis is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
Mr. Lewis is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy Joyce Lewis; one son, John Mark Lewis of Hot Springs; one daughter, Teresa and Juan Romero of Corning, KS.; four grandchildren, Sean Lewis, Jason Gill, Kelli Gill, and Jodi Contreras; four great-grandchildren, Allyson Gill, Cooper Gill, Jose Contreras, and Luis Contreras; one brother, Earl Dean Lewis of Clarksville; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Lewis will be 6:00 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday February 4, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Richard Snyder officiating. Burial will follow in the West Mt. Zion Cemetery, with Saulo Garcia, Jerry Holman, Wesley Baker, Larry Harvey, Rick Harvey, and Troy Lewis serving as pallbearers.

Very sorry to hear about the passing of Clarence. He was my boss at the brick plant when I worked summers during my college days. May God comfort his family.
So sorry to hear of Clarence's passing. He was a key member of the Eureka Brick family for many years and we were lucky to have had him.
