Curtis L. Clark, age 77, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Monday, January 18, 2016 in Helena. Mr. Clark was born October 7, 1938 at Monette, Arkansas to the late Curtis Otto Clark and the late Vice Holland Clark. Mr. Clark was a farmer and was a member of the Mason's, the Shriners, and Macy Methodist Church in Monette.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, JoAnn Clark; two sons, Curtis Clifton Clark (Andrea) of Helena and Mitchell Lyle Clark (Martha) of Elk City, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, J.R. Brown (Amanda), Robin Clark, Callie Clark, Dorothy Clark and Tinsley Clark; two great-grandchildren, Joel and Henry Brown; one niece, two nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny Dewayne Clark; and grandson, Payton Clark.
A service for Curtis Clark will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2016 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home. Visitation will be prior to the service from 12:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Maple Hill Cemetery in Helena. Reverend Melissa Maskell will officiate.
Pallbearers are Sam Chapman, Lyle Wheeler, Curtis Gregory, Dennis Delk, Lewis Hardmann and J.R. Brown. Honorary pallbearers are Smoky Campbell, Craig Campbell, Dale Coy, Layman Piercy, Jim Miles and Buron Griffin.
Memorials may be made to West Helena United Methodist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.

I was so sadden to hear of the passing of Curtis but I know you both have been through a tremendous trial over the past few years and now Curtis is a peace. I pray that the Lord will Bless you Joann with that same peace knowing that you were there for him all the way.
