Clifford Lee Metzker, 90 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 in Russellville. Mr. Metzker was born September 10, 1925 in Featherston, OK to Mr. John and Emma (Penderpraph) Metzker. Clifford served in the U.S. Army during World War II; He was a member of 2nd Baptist Church and oversaw the Salvation Army for 7 years. Mr. Metzker loved to talk and never met a stranger. Clifford enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and working at the church. Mr. Metzker is preceded in death by his parents; two sister; five brothers; and one grandson, Bryan Holt.
Mr. Metzker is survived by his wife, Lois (Chesser) Metzker; five daughters, Janet and Raymond Holt, Sandra Young, Barbara Marler, all of Clarksville, Karen and Kim Daniel of Lamar, and Sharon and Bill Annett of London; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Metzker will be 2:00 4:00 P.M. Sunday December 27, 2015 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday December 28, 2015 at the Second Baptist Church in Clarksville with Bro. Tom Dicus officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery with the Deacons of Second Baptist Church serving as pallbearers, and Mr. Metzker's grandchildren and Chris Cain serving as honorary pallbearers.

Clifford was a great man. I spent many nights there with his granddaughter, Amy, when we were kids. He will be greatly missed. I will be praying for you all.
