Jean Griffin, 77 of Benton passed away October 9, 2015. She was born June 3, 1938 in Saline County, Arkansas to late Luster and Inez Virginia (Pyron) Bradsher.
She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Benton and a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald; one son, Jeffery Griffin (Becca) of Mandeville, LA; one daughter, Debbie Griffin of Ft. Smith, AR; three grandchildren Andrew, Austin and Aden Griffin; one sister, Faye Hodnett of Dallas, TX, and other relatives and a host of friends.
A time of visitation is scheduled for Monday, October 12, 2015 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Roller-Ballard Funeral Home, (315-4047), Benton.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Interment will follow Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander.
So sorry for your loss. Jean was my Sunday School teacher at Geyer Springs. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

I was so saddened and shock when Gerald called to let me know of Jean's passing, such a sweet christian lady, who love the Lord so much, was very evident in the way she lived her life, was a blessing to every one she met, will miss her but look forward one day to be reunited with her in heaven.

Ms. Jean is a special friend...dear to our hearts. I (Kathy) always enjoyed our 'chats'. We will miss her while we are here, but will rejoice in eternity with her because of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
