I was hit with a great sadness, when I heard yesterday of Ernie's passing. We worked together for 16 years, in 3 different stores. We enjoyed a mutual friendship, that may sometimes have sounded more like siblings, when we were conspiring or disagreed on some point. I know at times, we drove each other crazy. But even if he was irritated with you, Ernie could be counted on if a friend was in need. And just as Ernie never forgot a friend, he will forever be remembered in the hearts of family and friends.. My husband John and I, extend our heart felt sympathy to Ernie's family.

I was privileged to have worked with you for 11 years at Walmart before your retirement in 2009. You always stood for what was the right thing to do in the work place and stood behind your associates no matter what. You will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.
God Bless.
