Locogene Ovene Spurlock Harrison, 80, of Pottsville, Arkansas, formerly of Evening Shade, died Friday, September 4, 2015 at her home in Pottsville.
She was born in Sharp County on Sunday, September 30, 1934 to William Leighton and Lula (Carver) Spurlock.
She worked as a nurse for 20 years at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. She was a member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ.
Survivors include one son, John Harrison and wife, Jane, of Eagan, MN; two daughters, Dianne Causey and husband, Dallas of Pottsville, AR and Debbie Beumer and husband, Robert, of Sartell, MN; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, L. C. Spurlock and wife, Evelyn, of Batesville, AR, Lonnie Spurlock and wife, Shayla, of Heber Springs, AR, and Donzie Spurlock and wife, Linda, of Ozark, MO; and one sister, Darlene Felts and husband, James of Jonesboro, AR.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Marshall Harrison; one son, David Wayne Harrison; and two brothers, Paschal Spurlock and Orvis Spurlock.
Pallbearers will be David Beard, Trent Beard, Justin Beumer, Parker Beumer, Mickey Felts and Mike Felts.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 9, at 2:30 p.m. at the Evening Shade Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch-McGee Funeral Home of Cave City.
Visitation will be at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday prior to the graveside service.

My dearest friend for 58 years. How I will miss her, but I know she is in a better place and no longer in pain. We met in Ankara,Turkey when our spouses were in the military and our friendship remained strong all these years. Until we meet again my friend, may you RIP. We love you!! Trudy and Bill Harris
