Jim and I grew up together living only a couple of blocks apart. We played football for St. Patrick 's, played together after school until our moms would have dinner ready, and while we went to different high schools stayed in touch until both of us went into service. I will always remember him as a quiet, brave and good friend. God bless him, our country and his family.
As you grieve know that we are remembering you and honoring the memory of JAMES F. LUKAS A Brother in Arms who served his country and by doing so became a Great American Patriot. I salute you Sir.May loving memories sustain family and friends during this time of loss and may you find comfort in Gods word.
We knew Jim from walking at Don Owens center. He was the friendliest person we have met here in AR. We will miss him. Alice and his family are in our prayers.
I first met Jim when we were both young children. We have been good friends all of our lives. He was as fine a person as I have ever known. My deepest sympathies to Alice and their children and grandchildren.
I served with Jim in the Marine Corps and I have considered him my brother ever since. He would have taken a bullet for me and I for him. A good Man and a good Marine. He will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Alice and the family. Being a good Marine, I know Luke will be standing tall, smiling, at the gate when I come marching through and that makes me feel better. Semper Fi Luke...
Jim, you will be truly missed at the Owen center. We felt a huge loss in there today while we wer doing our walks and even Kelly looking up waiting for unto walk in any second. Rest in peace my friend and keep up the walks in heaven
Pam
