Ray Blackwood, 94, of Crenshaw, MS died Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Veteran's Home in Oxford, MS.

Mr. Blackwood was a carpenter by trade and of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Lawson Blackwood and Mary Francis Chambers Blackwood; by his wife of 72 years, Gracie Marie Blackwood; by a son, Paul Blackwood and also by a daughter, Nina Sisson.

Survivors include 4 daughters: Linda Burnett, Joyce Baldwin, Dorothy Fuller and Judy Boyette;
4 sons: Bobby Blackwood (Helen), Harold Blackwood (Helen), Carroll Blackwood (Sharon) and Jeffrey Blackwood; a sister, Lois Darby; brother, James Blackwood; 34 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 30 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August, 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home in West Memphis, AR. The service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM.

Interment will be at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, AR.
