DaLee B. Brown, 91, of North Little Rock, died Wednesday July 22, 2015 in Little Rock. She retired from the State Capitol as an administrative assistant for the Arkansas State Employee Retirement System. DaLee was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed caring for her black poodle, Honey Boy.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Jack Brown; her parents; her brother, Elmer George Beckstrom; and sister, Phyllis Hearne.
She is survived by her son, Beck Brown (Cindy), of North Little Rock; granddaughter, Devon Brown; two step-granddaughters, Brandy Walker, of Parsons, KS, and Erica Keller, of Elkins, AR; five great-grandchildren, Bryan Gabbard, of Parsons, KS, Kayla, Bailey, Regan, and Trace Keller, of Elkins, AR; four nephews, Ricky (Paula) Hearne and Skip (Peggy) Hearne all of North Little Rock, and Perry (Dana) Beckstrom and Martin Beckstrom, all of Dallas, TX; great-niece, Hollie (Adam) Sandlin; great-nephew, Heath (Cheryl) Hearne; three great-great-nieces, Brittan, Hadley, and Eliot Sandlin.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock,(501) 791-7400 with burial to follow at Little Rock National Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorials be made to Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, North Little Rock, AR 72116.
