Bill H. McInturff, Sr., 69, of Vilonia, passed away Friday, July 17, 2015. He was born November 22, 1945 in Searcy to the late Howard A. and Gladys McCabe McInturff. Bill was also preceded in death by a brother, Robert Wayne McInturff and infant sister.
Bill was of the Church of Christ faith and a veteran of the United States Navy. He was a 1963 graduate of Judsonia High School, an employee of AP&L for 9 years, a restaurant owner for 10 years and an insurance salesman for 20 years until his retirement. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed classic cars, attending NASCAR events, and spending time with his family. Bill had a great sense of humor. He never met a stranger and loved to share stories.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary, daughter, Barbi Davis of Branson, MO, son, Billy H. McInturff, Jr. (Judy) of Mayflower, brother, Bobby Joe McInturff (Dyann) of Searcy, grandchildren, Brittney Bumgardner (Josh) of Clovis, NM, Brandon Eastin (Jayce) of Maumelle, and Christian Davis of Magnolia.
Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday July 21st with the funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway (501)-327-7727, with Marty Knight officiating. Burial will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Billy McInturff Jr., Bobby Joe McInturff, Christian Davis, Brandon Eastin, Josh Bumgardner, and Michael Barnett. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL 32256, www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
