Donna, I am not sure if sending condolences so many years after your Mom's passing is proper. Sounds as though she had a long, happy life. And I am sure she loved having grandchildren and great grandchildren.I regret that we lost touch with one another over the years . My late husband and I took a few motorcycle trips through the Ozarks . Had I known then where you were perhaps we could have visited. Take care and enjoy your family.

It was wonderful to have visited with Betty once again the year she came west with Bonnie and Roy. We had a good visit talking about our years in Council Bluffs when our families lived next door to one another. The Elson family always has had a special part in my life and my heart. Donna, Barbara, and families - I am so sorry for your loss. i enjoyed the years of hearing from Betty in her wonderful letters.
