Vodi Audmese Cook, age 85, of North Little Rock, passed away July 5, 2015. She was born on March 15, 1930 in Quitman, Arkansas to the late Mary Jessie Riddling and Elmer Riddling.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Rex Allan Cook; three siblings, Willi D. Livingston, Jessine Rowlett, and Juanita Herring; and husband Calvin Cook. She retired from Timex after 30 years of service. Mrs. Cook was a totally devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her two sons, Hurston Cook and Richard Cook; five grandchildren, Cassie, Olivia, Stephanie, Vodi, and Austin; four great-grandchildren, Lawson, Jonas, Harlan, and Hurston; and sibling, Edith Gifford.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 in North Little Rock, AR, 72116, (501)791-7400 with interment to follow at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Visitation will be from 6:00 8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home.
