I was so sad to discover that Roby has passed away. He was a great friend to us in the 70'and 80's. We used to visit him in his home in St. Andrews. Also evangelised with him. A lovely guy. Our son Daniel also visited him in USA when he was there. Roby treated him and his pals like royalty.
We lost touch eventually with Roby, but he was a true friend to our family.
The world is a poorer place without him. Xxx

He will definitely remembered in the cave community. When he and his mom arrived at Hurricane in 1987, I welcomed them to this very unknown career of show cave owner. My wife and I were the last to talk to Barbara in the hospital in Fayetteville on the night of her death. Roby was constantly exploring his cave and will remain a legacy there.
