I worked with Virginia at the Sweet potato plant for six years. She made it bearable to work there. She was so funny and we used to have so much fun at the pick table. I was always sending her down potatoes shaped like hot dogs, if you know what I mean, and she would take them and do weird dances with them and make us all laugh. She was always flirting shamelessly with the fellas, all in fun. I just found out about her death and I am heart broken. She was the sweetest lady I know and I will truly miss her. She's now one of God's most beautiful angels.

Vickie and family, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was a great woman, and so funny. 'Ginner(spelling?) and my mom, Viola Whitehead and your aunt Betty all worked together at Kim's Produce way back when, and I think from how I heard them talk, that they joked and laughed on those long shifts, making an otherwise rough job a little more bearable. Mom just loved her and Betty, and I just know they're all together again sharing a joke and a laugh!!
