Jim, it pained me to hear that Louise was gone so soon after just seeing her at the community center.

I can't think of a single person I've ever worked with that was more willing to go the extra 'mile' to help. She always did so with such grace and patience. On rare occasions I would see a 'look' that told me she was miffed, but rarely directed at me. And she always just laughed it off and was right back to being our 'Weezie'.

The true measure of a Life well lived can be measured by friends made and lives touched. Friends that came to visit at the reception and many more I'm sure that would have liked to have been are such a testimony to who she was.

Sadly, I won't be able to attend her services. But I know she's not there. She's sitting in God's presence, fully healed with the smile we all loved. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family tomorrow as you go through the difficult day tomorrow.

Love, thoughts and prayers to all,
Harold Hicks

To the family, I read of the passing of your loved one and send my condolences. This is one of the hardest times in a family's life. Our Heavenly Father knows your pain. One of the reasons he sent his only begotten son into the world is so that we might gain life through him. (1 John 4:9) Jesus himself said at John 11:25, " I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies will come to life." As you read and reflect on this promise, I pray that it brings you comfort.
