Delores Ann Parchman

of Little Rock, AR

June 23, 1936 - April 1, 2015

Delores Ann Parchman, 78, of Little Rock, Arkansas went to be with her Precious Savior, Jesus Christ on Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Ann was born in Hope, Arkansas on June 23rd, 1936. She was a faithful and humble servant of our Lord. She served in the Baptist Healthcare System for over 27 years as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Administrator. Her specialty was taking great and nurturing care of hundreds of babies over the years in the labor and delivery nursery. Ann also served over 25 years as a true Proverbs 31 woman serving the Lord as Evangelist Jack Parchman's wife and helpmeet. Ann continued her ministry after Jack's passing by encouraging her Christian sisters through speaking engagements and tape ministries, sharing her testimony with so very many. Ann never met a stranger. She welcomed every newcomer as a friend. She had an angelic voice and loved praising her Savior in songs. Amen and Hallelujah…for the newest beautiful voice in Heaven's choir! She was a long-time member of the Victory Baptist Church in Benton.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dr. Jack Parchman; her father, Floyd Tollett; and her mother, Lillian Tollett.

Ann is survived by four daughters: Lori Drake and her husband, Pat, of Jacksonville; Donna Pipkins of El Dorado; Jackie Greer of Brinkley; and Becky Bird and her husband, Bill, of Sherwood; one beloved son, Scott Bridges, of Little Rock; one loving big brother, James Reed Tollett, and his wife, Patsy, from North Little Rock. Patsy and Ann were also best friends since childhood and cherished so many good times together like sisters. Also surviving are two sisters-in-law, Tommie Sue Buckley of Mobile, Alabama and Charlene Parchman Frank of South Carolina; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many, many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Ann would like to thank the multitudes of friends and churches that supported her and Jack's ministry for many, many years. She loved everyone so much, and she always praised their presence in her life.

Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, April 3, 2015 at Roller-Drummond Funeral Home, 10900 Interstate 30, Little Rock, Arkansas 72209, (501)455-5800.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday at Victory Baptist Church, 5364 Highway 67 South in Benton with Dr. Ken Graham officiating. Interment will be in Pinecrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Victory Baptist Church Building Fund, 5364 Highway 67 South, Benton, Arkansas 72015.

Ann was my supervisor when i worked in OB/GYN IN 1975. I attended her wedding to Jack. She was a previous human being and even though i am sad to read of her passing, I KNOW she is in the arms of Jesus now

My dear sweet mom, I will no longer have to worry about you because I know that our precious JESUS and Jack,Papaw and Mamaw are taking such good care of you in such the way that you deserve.
I know you are singing with the Angels and I am sure you are directing the chorus at this point. I love and miss you dearly but there is one SURE thing we know is we will ALL see you again one day and we thank our Precious Jesus for making that possible!!!

We have always loved and appreciated Bro. & Sis. Parchman. She's united with her beloved husband and her "works will follow her". She was a real soul winner and loved her Lord. Our prayers are with the family and Blessed Hope Baptist Church.

I will always remember the Lady that respectfully I had the honor of addressing as "Granny Ann" She was a beautiful person inside and out. I loved her dearly. She will be missed by many and honorably remembered by all who knew her.

We fought the hard fight Mom... and we won. The precious Lady we lost is Heaven's gain. Thank you for taking me to Sunday School and Church when I was young. We were there whenever the Church's doors were open. I didn't always like it then... but cherish it now. Say hello to Jack, Mamma and Pappa Tollett and Mamma Johnson for me. I will see you soon.... Love you!

So many sweet memories of such a precious friend. We shared so much while working in the tent ministry with she and Bro. Jack. Always a blessing to be around them. Mrs. Ann has blessed so many people with her inspiring "talks" she shared with all the ladies around the country. Looking forward to seeing her in Heaven one day..Prayers for all the family..God Bless..
